Aimpoint 9000L & Ruger Mini14

I'm looking to put an Aimpoint 9000L 4MOA onto a Mini14 using 30mm Ruger Rings. The Aimpoint is not the smallest model but is still on the smaller side for a scope and is available for under $300. Not looking to shoot much over 100m and quick sighting is important. Does anyone know if this Aimpoint will require the high rings or might the medium height rings work for mounting? Thanks!

That Aimpoint should clear the rifle even mounted in the lowest rings as the objective is merely 8mm wider than the body at 38mm. Though the medium rings would probably make taking the top cover off easier.
