I currently run Mepro's on my Glock, but the Truglo Tritium/Fiberoptic looks very promising. I'm actually planning on getting them for my USP once I find someone locally that can install them.

My only complaint with Tritium only sights is that during normal lighting conditions, the sights don't jump out, and I think the fiberoptics will fix that issue.

On my Glocks, I preferred the AmeriGlo Operator sights.

I saw a set of HEINIE straight 8 they were very nice.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We recently redesigned our website and many of our links have changed.…

I use both Mepro's and Trijicon nites on my Glocks.
Which ever site you choose will probably be better then stock.

My current fav for Glocks are the Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eights. I've also used the factory supplied Trijicons and Mepros.

The Heinie's have a much wider and deeper rear sight notch than the other two (read faster to acquire front sight). They are a two dot setup. Very fast in a linear sort of way. Low light dot alignment for proper elevation is to have the dots in a colon as in ":" rather than a "8", but I guess "Heinie Straight Colon" sounds too much like an uber-laxative product...

              I like Trijicons.

I have a G23 I bought in 1991 that came with Triji's, they lasted very well. Last year I refinished the slide on that G23, and decided the Triji's were a little dim. I replaced them after I refinished the slide with a new set of Trijicons and couldn't be happier with them.

It's probably 90% personal preference, but with them lasting that long, I'll never complain.

Ditto, my factory G19 came with Trijicons and they just don't stand out enough in broad daylight. Gonna try the Ameriglo ghost ring on my G17.

                  Trijicon.

They got GREAT customer service too... I sent in my slide cuz the white ring of my front sight chipped a little (this has been more than a few years old).... and they replaced the front sight with a new one for me!!

                    Truglo TFO

I run TFO's on my glocks and love them.

Between the fiber optic sights and the tritium, they offer great sight picture from daylight through twighlight and on into darkness.

When I first started using them, I found the set screw on the rear sight backed out after sustained shooting with +P ammo. Some blue threadlocker seemed to resolve that issue.

+ 1 on the Truglo TFO's! They light up like any other night sight in the dark, and like any other fiber optic sights in daylight. It's the best of both worlds......
