Aimpoint ml2-2x

Anybody have experience with this scope? It's the Aimpoint model ml2-2x (ml2 with 2x fixed magnification).While the glass is clear and the red dot adjustable so it can be seen in daylight I can see the scope internals no matter how far away I place my eyes.It's almost as if you are looking through the objective end rather than the eyepiece.I noticed Aimpoint no longer lists this scope so maybe this is an inherent design issue.Any feedback greatly appreciated !
