    Super Sniper HD

Anyone own one of these? How good is the glass? I'm thinking of either it or one of the new bushnell FFP scopes, but I heard that they have problems at the max magnification and it seems to be the only other option out there that advertises good glass and matching reticle+knobs.

    63 views and no replies?

I would have thought someone here would have one of these.

I think it has been discussed before, the consensus was, junk.

Patriot, could you possibly be confusing Countersniper and Super Sniper scopes? SWFA's Super Snipers are hardly junk.

I have a regular super sniper 10X, just wondering if the HD one is worth it or better to save for something else.

You may be correct, I apologize if I gave bad info, I was going on memory.

              Discussion from another forum.

The HD glass sounds like an improvement, but IMO that scope is priced amongst great variable power scopes like the SIII 6-24x50 ($700).
Seems to me the matching turrets/reticle is the real advantage of the SS.

The MSRP on the upcoming FFP Bushnells also seems optimistic. We'll see how the street price is. When are they supposed to be coming out? At that price plus the wait time, I'd go with the new Vortex PST, coming in June they say.

I see the Bushnell FFPs are already out. If you get one, be sure to post up a review

There are a couple reviews on Snipers Hide. They said it's clear but the 'eye box' (place you have to put your eyeball in order to see through it properly) at 12X was pretty small. They are going for 629. I was going to get one but wanted to hear honest opinions on the SS10X HD model.
