Zeroing question for an ACOG or scope

Ok, i'm pretty much clear up to the point where you adjust your new POA using the elevation and windage knob to the middle of my first 3 shots group. My question is, for my 2nd 3 shots, do I aim at my original POA or at the middle of my first 3 shots group? Same question for my 3rd 3 shots, do I go back to the original POA or the middle of my 2nd 3 shots group. Thanks for the help.

You should be using the same POA each time and adjusting your POI closer and closer to your POA with each group shot. Setting up the ACOG zero target at 25 yards you should be using the tip of the 300m crosshair just below your main reticle (crosshair/horseshoe/donut/chevron) as your POA/POI. this will give your main reticle an approximate 100 yard zero. Once you get the groups tight at 25 yards, you can fine tune it out at 100 with your main reticle.

    This will help you out...

The club provides six ranges for various sports including Archery, Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun and Black Powder Rifle Shooting.
