I was choosing between the 6x and the 8x 42 and ended up picking the 8. Got it on a svd mount for a PSL - perfect fit. Sits a little high for a good cheek-weld, but that's per design and I added a cheek-rest.
At $200, I was impressed be the glass and the dusk visibility - the 6x should be even better.
        - Also added the old style flat eye piece, as the eye-molded one don't work well with glasses.

kalinka optics all the way man.

I got sick of the origional scope on my psl, ordered the 4-12 variable power one off of their site.

very good customer service. mine shipped in little under a week.

So did you go with the Mil dot or 1000 meter range finder version?

The glass is not the best, but these are very dependable scopes. I have had several different firearms with these combloc scopes and have never had a single problem.
