    If he claims it was recently refurbished, ask him to scan the documents by Aimpoint and email them to you. Then ask Aimpoint.

      I can't recall if they are made in USA or not, check Aimpoint's website I guess? I would look on mine but it's at home atm.

                  Yeah, but then you'd also have to assemble them yourself and they'd be made out of particle board so you can't count on it staying intact if you move.

                            the last pic looks real - both the markings and the internals. They're made in Sweden.

                            The mount is old but looks genuine - I'm not sure if there are clone QRP mounts, but they're not common.
