Help finding a scope for SOCOM 16

I'm looking for the best bang for the

This is what i'm looking for

2x7 variable scope on a ARMs #18 mount.
Has to be in the price range of $100-$250, Maybe $300 if It makes a huge difference. Also wondering if you get what you pay for applies to scopes.

Small in profile anywhere from 10inch to 11inch

Looking at Bushnell, Leopold, Nikon, Millet and Burris, but there so much options that I'm overwhelmed. I am looking for very clear glass and durability. Don't know much about these kind scopes and I need some help narrowing my search.

    I'll be shooting 100-200 yards

for 100-200 yrds. got a scout scope, so you can shoot with both eyes open. $200 may get you the simmon pro hunter scout scope that is 2x5. I have it on my socom 16

Im looking for a scope for my scout and got a couple recommendations for the Bushnell 3200 or 4200 series scopes. They look pretty good, have good reviews, and are reasonably priced. Take a look at the Bushnell site for the different versions, then shop around for a better price. Good luck.

I think I am going to go with the Burris Fullfield II 2x7. I went to my local gun store and was very impressed. My question, with the ARMs mount I need to find a ring high enough to clear the back site and high enough to clear the front optic. Will a low mount ring enough to clear a 35mm front tube? It looks like from the ARMs mount sits about the same height as the rear sights, so that doesn't seem like it would be an issue, with the medium size ring, I'm afraid it might sit to high even with a cheek pad.
