    A2 sight vs flip-up sight

I'm debating weather I should go with an a2 or front flip up sight because I just wanted a mbus rearear sight but my friend is going to give me both so I'm debating to keep the a2 sight or repalce it with a front mbus sight

I like the looks of the A2 but the flip ups are neat to give you some other options...

I'm assuming you mean you're thinking about replacing the standard front sight base (gas block) with an MBUS.

Just to make sure, you're aware that doing this entails removing the FSB, replacing it with another gas block, and then using a free float rail on which you can mount the MBUS sight? You'll be spending from $150-400 for that MBUS.

The stock FSB is strong, effective, and always ready. There are a few arguments against it, but getting a free MBUS probably isn't one.
