    AIMPOINT CUSTOMER SERVICE

So a couple days ago I was into an argument of aimpoint vs eotech. Well I had come to the conclusion that Eotech was quite a bit brighter than aimpoint and met with "they are about equal and both are almost blinding on their highest setting" Well after receiving a pic from another member We changed the battery in my buddy's comp 4. Still at least 2-3 settings dimmer than the eotech. A big noticeable difference. Well he called aimpoint and they wanted him to drop it in the mail right away, but he said he needed to at least have an optic this weekend, so he would ship it monday with the prepaid label. Their answer instead was to 2nd day air him a new one instead and he will ship his old one back in the same box. Talk about customer service. I've heard eotech makes you pay shipping both ways for any warranty work. I wish sportsmans guide carried the aimpoint since I have to split my replacement optic over 4 payments.

Yeah it reassured me to. I just wish aimpoint had a reticle like the eotech. Especially when you go to further distances with a magnifier. the 2 moa dot isn't so bad, but the 1moa dot in the eotech still allows pretty precise shooting. I will be trying the xps2 hopefully the redesign of the battery compartment fixed their issues. I still prefer the overall design of the aimpoint though, but I guess beggars can't be choosers lol. My other eotech was stolen before i ever got to use it, and I don't have $500 extra laying around. so it's the xps2 for me in 4 easy payments
