    1-4x power questions

I have a noveske carbine ar 15. I mostly use it out at angeles range or burro canyon for plinking around, desert shoot, and maybe self defense. ( i have other means for the last).. Really my question is would I be happy with the millet http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...m_campaign=657

or should I save for an accupoint?

any opinions or suggestions are welcome. if you have some other optics in mind throw them out there!! Id like to stay in the 350 range, but like I said I am willing to save up as well, just want to know if it behooves me to do so.

    thanks!!!

The AccuPoint is a lot nicer than the Millet, for sure, but since you're just plinking, I wouldn't spend the extra money.

The Weaver 1-3X is nice for the money. The reticule is not illuminated, however.

if you really want a 1-4x scope get the Night Force 1-4x optic expensive but quality is cheaper in the long run. especially when you have a nice weapon like a noveske.

dont put cheap stuff on a badazz rifle

If you are looking at the Nikon, you might want to look at the Leupold Mark AR for the same price - I just ordered it http://www.opticsplanet.net/leupold-...ope-67170.html

It's going on a Daniel Defense - I'll let you know what I think about it when I get it.

Millet is a great scope for the money. I have one on my HD AR. One guy I shoot with used his at the 3 Gun Nationals and did very well with it.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting
