ACOG TA31F Dials

Just received my ACOG TA31F and as I was fiddling with it, I noticed that BOTH adjuster dials are labeled "up" (see pictures). I thought I remembered handling a few before and noticing that one dial usually had "up" and the other dial had "r" (for right).

Can any other ACOG TA31F owners verify this? I purchased the ACOG from LAN World, Inc.

Btw, I blurred out the serial number. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right location as well, I'm pretty new here so please correct me if i didn't. Thanks in advance!

How old is that model? Did you buy it used?

It looks like they put the wrong one on it. I would contact whoever you bought it from or trijicon.

those are the external adjusters did you send it to trijicon to have them installed or did it come like that?

I just bought it and it is suppose to be brand new. I'm also concern with the minor scratches on it. Does anyone have any pictures they can post so I can see the difference?

Can you take those knobs off? Or were they installed that way by Trij?

If they come off, then you should have the correct setting under there.
Caps are $10 through Trij, IIRC.

That's how it came. Not sure if the knobs come off, it doesn't look like it'll come off easily.

No they shouldn't come off they are supposed to be installed as a replacement to the kind that requires a flathead screwdriver.
Trijicon's website says they are 102 bucks a piece and require installion via trijicon.

Is Trijicon shipping ACOGs with these on dials on it now? I'm wondering why a new unit would have this. I'm just paranoid with all these China-made knockoffs running around...

Not sure why it's not on their site. That's where I ordered my AR so I got pricing and ordered the ACOG from them as well.
