ZOS scope

I had one of their larger side focus scopes mounted to my 300 Win Mag for a short time. I think it was the 8-32X50. Never even got to shoot it though because the reticle wouldn't line up with the bore during boresighting. I think it must have had a tilted lens inside it. I ended up proping it up at 100 yards and shooting through the objective side "Carlos Hathcock Style" with the 300 Win Mag (This time with a different scope). I will say this about ZOS scopes, they are pretty bullet proof. The 185 grain soft point made it most of the way through, but stopped before exiting out of the eyepiece. From what I can tell, ZOS seems to sell a lot of the same scopes as Barska, but I think the internals on the ZOS scopes are not as good.
There are some decent scopes in that price range with similar features. Check out the Accushot series from Leapers. I've had one of their 3-12X44 scopes on my AR-10 for a few years now with no complaints.U.S. Navy (Retired) 1994-2015
