CR123 EOTech without 7mm Riser?

I searched the L3 website for an Eotech model that uses the CR123 batteries but does not have the 7mm riser mount. Do they even make what i'm looking for? I like the shape and size of the 511, but that used the N batteries and it is now discontinued. Essentially I am looking for the 516 without the 7mm riser.

Why don't you want the 7mm riser? It creates a lower 1/3 co-witness which is the best type.

Well, it would force me to buy another mount for my already purchased magnifier

You're right though, but it wont effect me because I plan on getting a flip up front sight gas block from YHM.

Which magnifier did you get? I had a Gen1 eotech 3x with FTS mount that I used with my eotech 517 and it worked perfect together.

Aimpoint clone with FTS mount. Supposed to work on non 7mm-risen Eotechs.

I figured that since my life or my family's life doesnt rely on my AR for protection, I dont need to spend $500 on a piece of glass that doesnt even need to be zero'ed. I still dont know why they cost so much! But I wont go cheap on the main optic. That's why i'm not getting a Fakeotech
