Red dot sight mounting???

I picked up a Sight Mark Ultra Shot Reflex Sight and want to mount on my Stag Model 1...After I removed the carrying handle and mounted the sight, it looks like the front iron sight is going to be in the way...Am I going to have to remove my front iron sight? Or can I get a riser to give me a little more lift on the red dot to look over the front sight? I need to get a battery to see if it's even a problem, but it looks like it will be. Thanks for your input.

I'm not too familiar with the red dot, but you can get a picatinny riser if it doesnt co-witness. Yankee Hill Machine makes some 1/2" i believe.

You can use a riser to put the FSB in the lower 1/2 of your red dot. I removed mine and went with a flip up sight. Up to you.
