ummm...Is the eotech zero'd when you shoot?
Are the BUIS zero'd when you shoot?
If you answered yes to both, don't worry about it. Also note, last time I looked through an eotech, if I adjusted my cheek weld, the dot would move in the frame(but I assume it was still showing POI), so that might be it too. -
If both the Eotech and your irons are zeroed, then when you look through BOTH the rear and front sights, the dot should be at the tip of the front sight post like (i).
Keep in mind the dot will move around as you move your head around. This is a good thing because it means you don't have to worry about perfect sight alignment. Just mount the rifle to your shoulder, get a good cheek weld, put the dot over the target and fire. If you're not using your irons keep the rear sight folded down and don't worry about lining up the dot and the front sight post. It is not necessary and will just slow you down.Comment
