    Diamondhead battle sights

Anyone have any experience with these or heard anything pro/bad about them?

    rear

    front
The front is supposed to have a built in bullet (5.56/.223) drop compensator up to 600 yards with the twist of the knob. (not pictured)

Let me go do some research, I have a set that is made by Troy for ShieldShot, who had the patent on it. The sight picture is great, and is HUGE improvement over regular ROUND rear sight.

This is the one I am using, and I love...

Troy has something similar in the works too (i think it is out already too). http://store.troyind.com/ProductDeta...-00&Click=6095

Now, these sights that you posted don't look like Troy's product... so, I don't know...

        Something doesn't add up here:

So, it is NOT "exclusive"..... if Troy is also doing it....

Personally, I would recommend Troy's version than the Diamondhead-USA one.... since Troy's sight is proven... and this is just an aperture change.... if you don't like it, you can always change back to the "regular" one...

I ended up buying the Rear Diamondhead sight for $89 on ebay. Now I just need to get the front. I cant decide if I want their standard or "premium". The premium is supposed to have built in bullet drop conpensators to 600 yds... I can do a range report when all is said and done.

            Link??

I don't know if they "sight" design is proven or not....their aperture is definitely superior, yet, I am worrying about their other things..... I am talking to their tech people now...

PS. I see a lot of Troy's design features/shadows on their sights tho. Yet, I think they may be having a legal battle with Troy... wrt to the aperture...

I can not access ebay from this computer. Sorry. However, the person I purchased from has the ebay ID of sog-armory and a website of www.sogarmory.com

They got back to me saying that those sights are made by themselves...

And that the patent holder may be in for a legal battle with Troy on the diamond apeture...

IMO, I will still go with Troy... as their battle sights are more "proven"... than these new ones from diamondhead-usa...

I have one of the new Troy DiOpter sights. Haven't been able to use it yet. I like the idea and sighting through it dry. I want to get it to the range.

I ended up buying the front for $89 and the rear for $89. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Any update on these? I just bought a Sig516 AR-15 and I need some sights. I looked at a complete gun at a local shop that had them installed and they look nice, but I'm not sure about the price. I don't mind spending the $$$ if the product is worth it, but I'm debating between these and Troy.

That first one is the one I have too, but I don't think troy makes that model anymore.
