Howdy
I'm looking for a decent compact scope for under three hundred bucks
I want it somewhat compact and fairly light weight
Right now I got a 4x16 on my AK in 5.45 and it's humongous, it puts the scope too close to my face and I don't need that much power on that rifle
I do need a scope because my eyesight aint what it used to be, it's had to line up the iron sights with a target
I want some magnification because the 5.45 shoots pretty flat and I shoot pretty far`out there... so no 1x red dot on this one
I may also use it on my lever action 94 in .357
people were suggesting the millet 1-4x24, I saw a similar kronus 1-4x24 on sale at midway, don't know anything about the quality
but they are both kinda heavy and long for what they are
I'm leaning toward a leupold VXI 2x7, they're about 200 bucks
Burris also makes something similar to that around the same price range
what do you think?
