    Experience with Hexagon sights?

I'm very curious about the hex ghost ring site. I'd appreciate if anyone could share their experience and opinion. thanks.

I am very interested to know if anyone is using this type of sight or what pas experiences have been.

Ya I can imagine it how it would be easier to line up the FSP with the middle of the hexagon because of the angles. I'm not sure about focusing on the target vs the front site though...whatever works I guess.

FYI - that's a peep sight, not a ghost ring. Ghost rings have much larger apertures and thinner ring walls; they call them ghost rings because they almost disappear when sighting in. Peep sights do not disappear, due to the smaller aperture and thicker ring walls.

i took a look at these sights while doing a paper. it was just research and not backed up by any extended collection of data...there isn't any out there yet.

whatever speed you might pickup because of the angles "leading" the eye to the center, you give up by having to peep through the aperture to find your target...unless it is static. you're directing too much focus to the rear sight

It would seem like the hex for a rear sight and a post front might be easier for my eyes to focus on. No problems 25 years ago, but now I need some type of advantage!

Try using a fiber optic front sight instead of using a unconventional rear.
