    Surefire light endcaps

I just bought another Surefire (6P) but I don't like the endcap on it. It's the kind where you can twist to turn the light on/off or press the base for momentary-on. I prefer the type that screws on tight and the base "clicks" on and off. Does Surefire make replacement caps in the different styles so I can change it out??

    Thanks!

Ok, thanks! I guess their "click on" cap was what I was trying to describe.

I thought they were pricey too, at first. Then I thought about how much the l ights cost, then the added expense of the LED upgrade. All of a sudden, the end-cap didn't seem too out-there!

          All you need is this...

You can convert your personal Twistie 6P tailcap into a clickie. Just purchase these from DX for $3.50. YOu take out the guts from your 6P cap with skinny pliers and screw in the guts from the DX model. Very easy and inexpensive to do. I also put this clickies on my G2 lights.
