Thanks tomd1584. What do you think about this unit? Anyone else have experience with 1 x 42 reflex and sight alignment?

Under the heading of "any other feedback".
I was looking for one of these awhile ago, until I saw one in person and it was no where near as small as I thought it would be. I wound up trying a TriPower, and liked it better. And you can cowitness the TriPower any way you want.

I have one it's the worst optic I've ever used. Washes out real easy in daylight. Mines old now maybe they've improved them but when mine was new it was much better in the store then shooting it.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Thanks Gregchico and randy for the feedback. What do like about the Tri-Power?

            Thanks,

I did not have a chance to use it at night/dark, but covering the fiber optic, the dot went away. Granted I was inside looking at a dark wall, but I could not see the tritium at all.
The TriPower his tritium (more for night vision goggles then normal use) but has a battery backup for true "normal people" use. You can choose the mount you want for co-witness.
With that said, I sold my Tripowers after a while and bought a ACOG later. My TA33 was a great optic, but my eyes had a problem with a magnified BAC (or something like that).
I'm now using a Burris XTR 14, and like it, on 1x I can use it like an Aimpoint/EoTech, but on 4x I'm hitting the gong at 500yds (I was able to hit it also with my TA33 also).

I used the Tri Power a couple of times. If you want a dot go Eo tec or Aimpoint. Well if I were buying a dot it would be one of those.

Thanks randy! Aimpoint is #1 on my list as I've heard EOTECHS have had QA issues.

The RX30 is very difficult to locate - or at least it had been while I was in search of one a couple of months ago. From what I understand, the Trijicon reflex sights prior to the RX30 washed out very easily and were generally poor reflex sights. I've heard the opposite of the RX30 - the 42mm lens and updated FO setup seems to have stepped up Trijicon's game.

I'd love to get my hands on one in order to check it out in person, but haven't had the opportunity. And like has been mentioned, it's a LARGE reflex.
Oh, and I have STD, so if any one wants it, come play with me!

I have 29 Trijicon RX30's in stock right now. Mr Poopupants, I am adding it to my website right now! Will be adding lots of Trijicon stuff today/tomorrow.

I will probably not be monitoring this thread, but feel free to PM me if you are looking for something and can't it. I can't promise I'll have it, but I will check all 6 of my optics suppliers to see if I can get it ASAP.
