Trijicon Accupoint scope?

I am trying to figure out what scope to get. I have been flopping back and forth between leupold mark 4 and the nightforce nxs. So today I got to check out the trijicon accupoint and it was pretty good and way cheaper. I am looking at the 3-9x40. The only thing I did not like was the 25mm tube diameter which limits me on ring options because I would like to use the night force one peice that comes in 30mm. also it does not have the external turrets like the leupolds M1 and M3. So my question is does anyone have any experience with the trijicon scopes and is it possible to get the external turrets on it and do the inserts to reduce from 30mm to 25mm work well?

If it helps, I am only planning on shooting to 500yrds max and have a rem 700 sps tac with an AICS stock, NF base and Harris SML bipod.

OK, I'll jump in here.

The Accupoints are great scopes but to get the features you desire you would need the 5-20x50 mildot. It will allow you to use your setup. Still less $$ than either of the other options you mention. But they are scarce. I'm not a fan of inserts, another part to work loose over time, but that is my bias.

I called them today and they dont have what I am realy looking for so I just going to have to cough up the money and get the NF nxs 3-9x32.
