    Bipods and scopes?

I'm planning on going to the miwall reno gun show this sunday. I'm planning on getting a bipod for my ar. Any particular brands to consider? I want a decent bipod but w/o spending an arm and a leg. Something that is height adjustable would be great.

I may get a scope as well. Again not wanting to spend tons of money.

    Thanks.

Harris bipods are GTG. I prefer the 6-9" for my AR.

I have a Harris Bipod BRM-S and LT706 QD Swivel Mount Combo that I bought directly from LaRue. Kind of pricey, but it saved me having to buy an additional mount (since the quick detach LaRue mount is integrated into the Harris bipod). Rock solid. Easily adjustable. Glad I saved up for this one. YMMV.

I'm about to buy a Harris 9-13" with swivel and notches. They're much cheaper than other brands and seem to get great reviews.

Tango down, harris, and GG&G are all great bipods with the Harris being the cheapest. If you can't get them for around 70 bucks or under though, just wait and get one off midwayusa.com

Sorry to threadjack, but is a 9-13" suitable for normal seated bench shooting at the range or is it a bit too tall?

Depends on your seating position. Our benches are set up rather high for what we sit on so a 6-9 works great for me. If you have low benches or high chairs, the 9-13 will work great. I like the 6-9 for on the ground prone though either way.
