If you are looking for hunting scope then I would recommend Leupold VX3 or the Accupoint. But if you are looking to do long range shooting then you are looking at the wrong scope expect for the Falcon and the Bushnell Tactical.

If it is for Tactical then I would recommend the Bushnell. I have not used the Falcon but I have seen them go down on numerous occasions. Another good low cost scope is the Leupold Mark 2.

We can get you almost any scope you would like so if we can be of help fill free to ask.

For under $700 you could do allot better than the scopes listed. Sometimes you can even find a MK IV running around for that price. If your running a 16" 5.56 you are not going to have to worry about anything past 300 yards. I would say look into maybe a the Leuplod MK IV 1.5-5x20, MK II 1.5-4x20 or MK AR 1.5-4x20. For me that is all you really need for a 16" AR.

You are going to be shooting a 16" .223 from 300 to 1000 yds?

I already have 3 close range optics. I am looking for High tactical knobs and side focus. Any suggestions?

IOR tactical 10X has those features. Nikon tactical have those features too, if you can find a used one (or an on sale one, Natchezss.com had a few for 699 shipped).
