I've been looking around for a vector optics 1-4 or 1-5 whatever it is scope that they have. I know they're around 200-250 ballpark and thats no problem, but I can't seem to find a decent link that doesn't look really shady. Anybody have a good source for Vector Optics products??

Sunclear (the parent company for Vector Optics) has an eBay store...
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
Come on...what harm??

Man, I thought they were at the 200 dollar price point for the 1-4. I may just end up sticking with a millett DMS-1 then.Comment

Well, in another thread I had asked scott @ liberty optics about the millett and he is kind of shying me away from it. There are a LOT of positive reviews but people say that the reticle gets washed out in the sunlight some. Lots of 3 gunners seem to use them and Accupoints so they can't be all bad. I really like the vector scope and believe its a glass etched reticle IIRC but Vortex is supposed to come out with a 1-4 and will probably hold off till then.Comment

For what it is worth, I have a Burris XTR 1-4x that I love. It is not as expensive as the Accupoints, it has a BDC built in and for the price difference you can buy 2 lifetimes worth of batterys and a nice mount verse the cost of just the Trijicon.
When shooting into (almost) direct sun, the illumined reticle is not visible, it reverts to black, but 98% of the time I have used it, I can get it to glow (and I'm still on my first battery).
I have nothing but good things to say about this optic. The true 1x also works almost as well an the EOtech....Comment

Thanks, I appreciate the input, and check those out. SWFA has the 1.5-4 vortex scope but I was hoping for a straight tube design not one with a bell at the objective end.Comment

Here's a link to their website in Shanghai...

That last one was nice, but there isn't a link to buy.Comment

The DMS-1 reverts to black when it is really bright as well. The reticle is pretty bold in black so you wont miss it. The DMS is bigger than I expected when I mounted it.sigpic

I've looked at the accupoint quite a bit, and the compact ACOG's are nice. I'm not willing to spend much more than 400-500 smackers on a scope though so we'll see what it gets me.Comment

Well I posted up that I'll take it pending a question and it was sold out from under me. I guess "I'll Take It" isn't good enough for this forum anymore. Thanks for the PM who told me it was around though.Comment

Really!?! That really sucks because I never saw mention of it anywhere else. I sent a PM and it was less than an hour that I got back to him and apparently they were "Mailed Out" I even offered him a few more bucks to make it worth his time to package the item separately.Comment
