Aimpoint CompM4 Problem?

Just received mine today. Is it normal for these to have several small red dots bunched together?... Mine forms a loose V shape... At the brightest setting it's less noticeable but it's still there. I held it side by side with my cheap Barska but the Barska has ONE red dot. Did I just waste $700??

UPDATE:.... oops, i read some posts and yes it looks like my eyes are the problem. It's a lot less noticeable with my left eye and when rotating it, the dot pattern doesn't rotate (i.e. according to previous posts this is an eyeball problem not a scope problem) and yes I do have astigmatism. I'll just point that group of red dots at the target, haha..

Are you focusing ON the dot? Focus on an object and see if it changes.

Yes, get glasses, I found out i have a / astigmatism, near sighted in one eye, far in the other. Found out why I was having such a hard time focusing LOL.

I get the same thing when I don't wear my glasses. Even worse with my Eotechs. Once I put my glasses on, the dots are clear again.

That's perfectly normal for the limited run, Aimpoint CompM4-PREDATOR model. Just make that sweet targeting sound in your head every time you look through the thing...
