quick Rem 700 Vs Rem 721 question

does anyone know if the scope mounting screws on the 721 are the same as the 700? I can find lots of scope mount rails for the 700 but obviously not for the 721 given it's age. just trying to sort out if it'll fit or not. thx

If you do Google Remington 721 scope mount, most of the Ads have Rem721 and 700 mounts with the same part number so that means that they should be interchangeable.

I put Remington 700 scope mounts on my 721 and they fit just perfect. Getting a good cheek weld with the 721 stock, that's another story...
