What scope for Stag model 6?

Hey guys, I just got a stag model 6L and I'm having trouble deciding what scope to put on it. The only thing I know is that I want something with a mildot reticle. Any suggestions?

What's your budget, and what are you going to be using it for?

I put a Millet TRS 4-14x50mm on mine and I really love it. Can't beat it for under $300.

I also like tghe Konus M30 line. I'll be picking the up 6.5-25x44mm for my Remy PSS.

I guess I should have been a little more specific(I'm pretty new at posting).
I will be using it for target shooting mostly with occasional varminting here
and there. I really don't want to spend more than $500. A friend suggested Millet before but I haven't seen one in person.

So, you really have 2 questions: What scope, and what mount?

For a mount, you'll want something that will give you enough forward offset for your combination of scope, stock, and shooting style, and will put the scope centerline at or a little above the iron sight height (1.4" above the rail). If you're going to mount iron sights, you'll also need the mount/scope combo to clear the BUIS.

For under $100, the best bet in a one-piece mount these days is the SWFA SSALT or the Burris PEPR. If you don't mind spending $200, the LaRue, ADM, and GG&G mounts all get good reviews.

With the money that's left over, you can pick a good scope. For target shooting and varminting in that price range, you'll probably want 9x-14x for the high end.

There are lots of good choices in the $250-400 range, including Leupold Mark AR, Burris FF2, Nikon Buckmaster, Milletts, and others.

I'm a Leupold fan, and if it were me, I'd seriously consider the SWFA SSALT (unless you want railtops on the rings, then get the PEPR) and a Mark AR 3-9x mildot in that price range. There are lots of other good scopes, though.

I was using my bushnell 3200 10x40 with a 1 inch tube, its alright. I also used a Vortex crossfire 6-24x50, its a good bang for the buck scope.
I use a super sniper 10x42 for my 308 savage

like dark said go with the bushnell elite except i would go 4200 for a little more or if not Nikon is good bang for the buck
