Good Remington 700 Scope Mounts?

Whats a good Scope mount for a long action Remington 700.

OP-Seekins stuff is on par with Badger. Its aluminum so you'll save a bit of weight, if thats a concern. Badger is the standard, but most reputable bases will provide excellent function. The EGW, though inexpensive, is a great base. Warne even makes a decent base. I've had nothing but excellent results from all my seekins hardware. The Farrell bases are good, but they are quite tall. As far as rings, all my 34mm stuff wears seekins. Great quality, reasonable price. Also excellent repeatability. I've taken scopes off and on a lot recently with these new builds and the seekins stuff has worked out perfectly. Dead nuts back to zero. I ran Warne rings for a while with a borrowed Nightforce and they did great as well. After the initial mounting headaches with the split ring design, they stayed solid. That setup got me a great finish in this last norcal TBRC. Point being I guess, is that there are many manufacturers that make great stuff. No need to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a name.

Agreed, I rate Badger and Seekins in the same quality
Leupold MK4 one peice base a close second
TPS would be my last choice if I cannot afford any of the above
TPS is about $65 and is great product and value

Well that narrows the field quite a bit - if this is for hunting, plinking etc where a picatinny base is not needed you could go with std Leuopold bases and rings - if you want a picatinny base and rings EGW would be your best bet to get both base and rings in your budget.

Heck for 100.00 just get the leupy. Its all just a matter of pref and there is no exact way to go. If it wasn't mentioned on here then it's probably not worth even looking into.

I plan on using the rifle for Hunting and target shooting.
