    Is my aimpoint real?

I think so, its a comp m4s. i just wanted to be sure. it does make a snap click when i turn the knob once its tight. also the brightness knob is not continuous (although i did mistake it for a battery cover till i bothered to read the instructions lol. good think its durable! )

i got it from someone on ebay who had thousands of positives. i just want to be sure before i leave feedback xD. i'm gonna call aimpoint to verify the serial just to be sure. i'm pretty sure it is but with so many fakes can't be too safe.

It looks real. What do you mean by "brightness knob is not continuous"?

      Also who was the seller?
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

i've heard the brightness knob keeps turning on the fake ones. mine doesn't

i dont' want to say who the seller was cause they might get mad if they see this . but they do have thousands of positives so i feel pretty good. my friend got his eotech from them and his was legit.

I don't see any telltale signs of this being a fake.

i called. they don't really verify serials (i figured it would take a second call as others have) but they did say this:

the color of the glass in the front will change to green at the angle it almost disappears from view (its a coating so it can be used with night vision optics). they also said they haven't seen a replica of the m4s yet. so i should be good to go

they also said it comes in a plain white box with a real Duracell battery. so good to go then .

also, you can disassemble the mount. a real aimpoint has ridges that keep it from sliding back and forth. And yes their top of the line mount comes in the cheapest box imagineable.
