So i've come to the conslusion......

That I need a new spotting scope. I have a cheapo barska 20-60x60 big 5 special and its not doing the trick. At 200 yards, I can see a .223 in a shoot-n-see pretty easily with a truglo scope at 16x44 power. With the barska on 20-40x60 its not much better but still a bit better. Past 40 power its too grainy to make much out. I can't spend much more than 300 at all so 300 is my attempted limit but there is some wiggle room. Its gonna be time to sell off a toy or two and attempt to get a decent spotting scope. Either this, or upgrade the truglo scope and just spot with the new scope, but I'd really like a spotting scope. I've heard Kowa makes decent stuff and bushnell is crap for the most part, but school me on something to be 600 yard capable and at the least able to see .223 holes in paper at 200 yards or a little more.
