Why is there so much BS around when it comes to affordable scopes?

Well my USO SN3 and Leupold 3.5-10x40mm M3 both also fell at that time and they both survived just fine (and they were mounted to MUCH heavier rifles). The DMS-1 is a very durable heavy built scope. The impact happened in just the right place because that's a vulnerable area on all scopes. . I have seen pictures of a NF scope that was badly damaged by just falling off a table onto a hard floor. It wasn't attached to a rifle which would have greatly added to the impact force.

Like I said DMS-1 hit in just the right place. DMS-1 has never been accused of being a wimpy scope. The power ring area is weak place on all scopes. That's where the ocular section is joined to the main tube.Well my USO SN3 and Leupold 3.5-10x40mm M3 both also fell at that time and they both survived just fine (and they were mounted to MUCH heavier rifles).

Scott, what do you mean? No as in bushnell doesn't have decent customer service or no on bushnell in general. I always thought they have had great products for the money in general. So far all their products have satisfied me although I may get a vortex next time just for the sake of trying it out. I got a hold over cheap truglo from natchezz and its been awesome really. I can't complain as I'm able to get great groups from cheap ammo at 100 and 200 yards very repeatably. I'm just trying to clarify what you meant here.Comment
