    Bore Sight Laser Recommendations

Anybody have a favorite for a laser bore sight for rifle use? Or that comes as a kit to use on rifle or pistol?

There are a number of them out there for under $50, but with differing reviews and opinions about ease of use and function.

    Thanks!

There are many cartridge types, but having one for each caliber is burdensome and the universal ones with caliber specific sleeves are too...

A quick and convenient one is this: https://www.realavid.com/product/viz-max-bore-sighter/ ... it's not exactly cheap, none of their stuff is, but it's all quality stuff... of course you can find it places other than their site.

I've used many different laser bore sights over the years, most are sitting in a box somewhere... but the Real Avid one is on shelf in parts cabinet for easy access and has been on about every long gun and pistol I own... all of them have been on paper during final sight-in.

I've swapped optics, iron sights, lasers many times on many guns... the convenience of the Real Avid makes it my recommendation.

i have used one of these for years and it work well enough.

if course it relies on the barrel end being good, and may be worse if you have some kind of muzzle device, it has gotten me in the ballpark every time.
