So I bought a used G17 and it had a Ameriglo H3 GZ suppressor night site with an holosun optic. The idea was if the optic goes out, the night iron site will be used.
Since I need to get a front replacement site, it's best I probably don't buy the Ameriglo H3 GZ 3XL .365 tall sight as i don't have a suppressor and never will living in california.
My question is what night sight should I buy to be able to zero in on the co witness looking through the holosun optic?
also why would folks want to install a suppressor sight on a non-suppressor pistol in the first place? Any advantage of having such a tall sight with no suppressor?
