1.93 scope mounts

I need a strong, lightweight 34mm mount for Gen III Razor 1-10. I think I've narrowed my choices down to three. Badger Ordnance Condition One, LaRue LT135 and Scalarworks Leap 09. All of these seem to get mostly good reviews.

The Scalarworks is the lightest. The way it mounts leaves me skeptical. If it had a way to tighten it down better, I think this would seal the deal for me. A simple torx cutout in the thumb screws seems like it would solve this. As it is, I question being able to tighten it down properly. This is going on a Sig 716i. It might be OK on a 5.56 but the additional recoil with a .308 has me questioning this mount.

LaRue is the heaviest and most expensive of the three. I'm happy with their trigger on my AR. I even bought one for the Sig.

The Badger Ordnance Condition One seems like a good middle ground for my middle of the road setup. It's just behind the Leap in weight and is the most affordable in the group.

I'm leaning towards the Condition One. Cost and weight make it the most attractive in the group. I'd like to hear from those with first hand experience with any of these three.

What say ye with more experience than me?

No experience with that Larue mount but do have experience with both the others in 30mm. Pretty sure he scalarworks us the most expensive though both the Larue. The mounting wheels for the scalarworks have been excellent for me and the best return to zero I’ve had of any qd. I’ve had several of their red dot mounts and two lpvo mounts. Badger is excellent and if you want to save a little it’s a good choice. I think it’s under appreciated but the leveling feature in the scalarworks is pretty awesome. I know on original and the 2nd gen scalarworks there was some people that had cracking at the pivot point of the mounts but they changed it up on the current ones. One of mine is the old one and has seen over 10k rounds in the last few years. Holding up perfect.

I found a good price online from some small company I've never heard of. I decided to give the Leap mount a try. I'm hoping the 1.93 height will make it a little easier shooting with my specs. I've heard they can literally be a pain in the neck while shooting prone. I guess there is only one way to know for sure if this is a good option for me.

It?s way over exaggerated and I feel like it?s people with no actual experience doing the parrot thing online.

i only have the leap, but the "recoil" on that rifle is pretty much zero.
got the high mount for upright and both eyes open style plinking.

Are you saying the 1.93 height isn't as useful as it's made out to be?

No I'm saying that it is not a problem shooting prone.
