Looking for CG wisdom on a Red Dot Sight for a PPS M2.
I'm a relatively new shooter (around 3500 rounds total). Without exception, all of the more experienced shooters I chat with at the ranges and the instructors for my courses use RDS most often. Most suggest I move to RDS now instead of optimizing with irons just to switch to RDS in a year or two.
I don't have any RDS experience, and since the PPS will have to be milled, I assume there's no going back once I decide on a footprint.
I've scoured the interwebs for recommended options, and I seem to see some similar players come up:
Holosun 507k
Trijicon RMR (or RMRcc)
Swampfox Liberty/Justice
Sheild RMSc (Walther actually sells a PPS with this pre-mounted, FWIW)
Primary use for this will be concealed carry. What's been your experience with these on subcompacts?
Bonus Question: given the use, is there a benefit to considering a closed emitter option like Aimpoint ACRO, Holosun 509T, or Steiner MPS?
