    SIG SAUER Bravo5

Picked up this fixed 5x prism optic a while back for my AR15, and am quite impressed with it.
Great FOV, crisp clear glass, and decent reticle.
Yeah, it's built like a tank, and weighs as much as a car battery...but should endure plenty of abuse.

The only con I have, is the eye relief. Or lack thereof.
I suppose I should have known it would be a problem, when that spec isn't advertised by Sig or any other retailer.
By my best measurement, it's a little under 2".

I'm not worried about getting scoped, but...
With the scope mounted as far back on the pic rail as possible, I have to adjust the stock to the first notch to get my eye within the sweet spot.
This drastically messes with length of pull, and causes my hand to be curled up to get on the grip and trigger.
I thought about fab'ing some angled offsets that would push the optic back toward the stock a bit more, but the posts, mounted to the pic rail, are molded into the body of the scope.
Also thought about adding a horizontal bar, between the posts and pic rail, for some cantilever. I think I'd need a CNC machine for that. Anybody "know a guy" in the San Luis Obispo county area?

Anyways, wondering if anyone else has experience with this optic, its eye relief problem, and has found a fix.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Prism scopes are all like that. It's why you see nose-to-charging handle with ACOGs.
