MFI Optics Rail for HK SP5

Been on the hunt for a quality rail for my SP5, there are lots of products out there but the offering from MFI seemed to have the best user feedback so I jumped on their website and ordered the 6.5" long rail and definitely impressed.

The build quality is solid, and the mounting points are smooth and rounded as to not scratch up the finish on the firearm. The mount also has cutouts for the model and serial number which is very convenient and doesn't require removing the mount to access the #s. Another positive is the low profile of this mount, it sits tight and low and doesn't block the irons when an optic isn't mounted on the rail.

Looks great on the SP5 and perfect fit for the MRO

If anyone is looking for a mount for their SP5 link below:

Is that a MRO HD? If so how do you like the glass (clarity and tint) and is the dot a crisp circle?

Any other feedback on the MRO HD?

MFI mount is a great choice. Another great option is the B&T low mount.

Yeah it's the HD. I love the optic, the glass is super clear as expected but the big improvement is it's a true 1X vs the earlier models. I love it so far and I primarily got it for the 68 MOA circle reticle, I prefer that reticle for 25 yards and under and you also have the option for the 2 MOA dot for longer range

Nice! Looking to get one myself.

Can the circuitry / electronic board be seen with the optic off / or when facing direct sun light? For example, some reviews say you can see the 68 MOA circle even if you have if off (on the 2 MOA dot only).

          Thanks.

Yes, it suffers from this issue like many red dots.
