    Holosun AEMS

Looking into the AEMS sight. Anyone have some user feedback on the unit, especially regarding quality of glass and durability, etc?
Can the circuitry / electronic board be seen with the optic off / on when facing direct sun light?

Sage dynamics reviewed the unit and it survived the drop test, so it looks durable. However, would like to hear from users with actually time / year(s) of use.

Any known issues with the sight? Would you purchase again?

Iirc the footprint is unique so you will have to get aftermarket plate if you want to use other mounts beside the one included.

He is correct. I have one and I?ve come to really like it. Aimpoint T-1s on everything else. The mount has held solid but I?ve been eyeballing the ADM mount they make for it. Really light and the green reticle is pretty clear in all conditions. For the money, I think it?s a good buy. I will get one for my next wallet emptier.

Scalarworks is going to be shipping their mount in the next month or 2. Looks really good.

They are great optics. It is very durable. A friend of mine has 35k rounds on his no issues at all

There is a core model that is cheaper. That one is 2 moa daily. The standard has the eotech circle reticule

            Thanks for the feedback Static.

Giving me more confidence to get one. Definitely a step above the $100 range red dots, but also not in the $5-600 range which is where I want to be. Just wanted to make sure it's worth the extra cost.

Looking to get the American Defense lower 1/3 quick disconnect mount:
AD-AEMS mount is a QD replacement for Holosun AEMS Red Dot, in various co-witness heights. Precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum with a Patented QD Auto Lock™ Lever

Their record with me has been spotty at best. Had one go back for bad buttons, got back one with a bad reticle, Sent that one back got one where the glass came out. Finally got the 4th one and it's been great. At least they're pretty good about warranty.

I have one and it's on my AR pistol, works well and is nice and light, good sight window, easy to pick up reticle, I would buy again for sure.
