    Holosun 507C-GR-X2 w/ACSS

I purchased the above RDS and it came with the ACSS Vulcan reticle. I pulled it out of the box and was checking it out and now the ACSS reticle is gone and now I only have a circle with a chevron or just the chevron? I cannot seem to get it back. I will have to call customer service, but I am going to post here 1st.

It?s a small chevron with a large circle. You have the option to turn the large circle off. Check that out.

To change reticle modes, you typically hold the minus (-) button down for 3 seconds. Try that out.

The circle and chevron is ACSS. That is what makes this sight different from the common Holosuns sold just about everywhere else, which have dots in the center. The options for ACSS are chevron only, circle with chevron, and circle only (depending).

There was a reticle that looked like a half circle with the chevron in the center and a horizontal line across the bottom. That is what has gone away and now I am left with the circle, circle with chevron or just chevron.... Wonder what I pressed...?

And I have tried pressing the minus button, but it only toggles between the 3 mentioned options... There was a 4th that I cannot get back...

Those are the only three reticles in Holosun?s PA manual as well. I?ve never seen that fourth option you?re talking about. Perhaps a secret 4th mode?

One of the negatives with the ACSS is much shorter battery life than a 2moa dot, significantly less. The other is some find it too cluttered, but I hear they are great with a magnifier. Like anything else user preference, some just like the simplicity of a dot. But the ACSS is great for longer range targets.
