Red dot with windage adjustment on the left?

My main optic is an LPVO and I just added an offset red dot on the left side since I shoot rifles left-handed. Now I'm realizing that zeroing that red dot is going to be a pain since there is no way to access the windage adjustment screw as it's blocked by the LPVO.

The only way to zero the RDS would be to remove the LPVO, zero the red dot, then re-install and zero the LPVO. Or use a red dot with the windage adjustment on the left, like the Romeo2, but I'm not ready spend $700 on a red dot at this point...

Are there any red dots (aside from the Romeo2) with the windage adjustment on the LEFT side?

Lol, where the adjustment screw is didn't even occur to me until you brought it up.

I checked my RMR, my Romeo1, Holosuns (507 & 508), and Leupold DPP and they are all on the right side. I believe the Romeo 2 is a singular outlier.

It seems weird to be more concerned with the adjustment screw than a red dot that you like. I believe the best solution is to either move where it is mounted to give you more clearance or get a different offset mount (which gives you more clearance).

I?d grind down and shape an Allen key if it is an issue. Shouldn?t take long and should do the trick.

I imagine it's not an issue for most shooters because they either mount the RDS on top of a rifle/pistol or are right-handed and so the canted RDS is on the right side.

With the RDS at a 45 degree cant there is a bit more room between the LPVO and adjustment screw, but would still require a specialized tool.

Offset screwdriver I found did not fit. An Allen key ground down would probably work, but the adjustment screw is slotted.

I was thinking of designing something in CAD, like an extremely short thumb screwdriver, specifically for this.

Unfortunately I prefer the RDS at a 35 degree cant, which leaves almost no space between the adjustment screw and LPVO (5mm) for any kind of tool to fit.

I could mount it at the front on the handguard, but I don't like that position for an offset optic.

I still don't think it'll fit with the RDS at a 35 degree angle, but might work if I mount it at 45 degrees.
