    Change Reticle

I have a couple of Leupold VX3i 6.5X20X40 scopes I would like to change the reticle from duplex crosshairs to fine crosshairs with 1/8th min dot for my varmint rifles. A number of years ago I had Leupold do it. Their division that does this has been closed for 3 years or so and they do not forsee it opening for another few years.
Can anyone point me in the direction of an outfit that can do this for me??

There used to be a company that was, i think, "officially" Leupold's go to custom shop, but it's been many years since I looked for them and I don't see them now. Maybe someone ese will have a link.

Perhaps you are thinking of Premier Reticles, but they went out of business or got absorbed by someone in the late 1990s/early 2000.

Leupold custom shop no longer takes any orders for changes or customization of scopes, only repairs. This stopped long before Covid and last year I contacted them about some work. Other than custom turret dials, no other special orders are being done. According to the rep I spoke with, they are "focusing" on production and repairs.

That's right. It was premier and I couldn't remember them for the life of me.

They had a bad break up. Leopold will remove any Premier mods if the scope is brought to Leopold for repair or service.

Take a look at this site, they've been in business for a long time.
