Schmidt and Bender Classic 2.5-10x56 L3 Illuminated Rifle Scope

Anyone have a Schmidt and Bender Classic 2.5-10x56 L3 Illuminated Rifle Scope? It has a really nice reticle. Kind of like the German #4 but with a red dot. This is the nicest scope I've found so far in the 2.5 x 10 magnification range. Although I did find a Leupold VX-7 2.5x 10x45 that was very nice too and it had the #4 German reticle. Can anyone offer any feedback for the Schmidt and Bender scope?

    See photo to view reticle.

You probably won't find too many with that exact scope. I have a S&B 5-25x56 PMII, but its a different beast than the one you're talking about. Glass is fantastic.

What will you be using the scope for?

Mostly target shooting from 100 to 300 yards. Plan to mount on an ar15 and possibly a Remington 700 P LTR in 223 if I buy one.

I am considering a comprable Zeiss as well as a Leupold, the VX-7 series.

I want a scope with really good quality glass since I need help to make up for my aging eyes.
