Best sight system for a tactical AK??

I am looking for a sight system for my Saiga 223. I Love Trijicon ACOGS (not used them just the idea of no batteries)

But I have heard Marines etc hate the acog, what is best for a SHTF tactical urban assualt survival hunting sight system??

Red dot, reflex, holographic, iron, standard scope, etc...???

The LaRue is great for range fun, but not what you'd want for a work gun.

The BEST choice for that, hands down, is an Ultimak rail with an Aimpoint Micro cowitnessed to the irons.

I checked out the ultimak sight, How do you co-witness the micro? seem like it is too high??

Will the ultimak gas tube rails fit a saiga 223?

What are the downsides to the larue ?? (which was high on my list)

The LaRue is significantly more fragile. The FastFire isn't a ruggedized optic. For normal use, you can't beat that set-up.

The Ultimak rail is the only one that is low enough to allow cowitness.
