Commander NV100 Night Vision Scope Cam

Oneleaf technologies sent me an NV100 to test out but I was under no delusions that I was going to be testing anything better than a Gen 1 device. In practice the NV100 is equivalent to a Gen 1.5 night vision monocular that can mount directly onto your rifle scope.

The NV100 unit itself was plastic and probably would not survive a 3ft drop onto concrete. It's not hardened military grade kit. Treat it like a digital camera because that's what it is: a 1080p digital camera that can take video and photos, that can also see into the near inferred.

The OneLeaf Commander NV100 is available through this Amazon Affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3fD1JfB

    From Amazon:

"This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

Probably a CA prop 65 problem.

Also, your video says it's about $200. Your Amazon link says $340.

      Good review. Thank you.
As a $100 novelty toy it might be fun but until they overcome the limitations of distorted proportions, terrible depth of focus and dangerous eye relief, this would have limited use to backyard varmint hunting with rimfire guns or just wildlife detection.

"Cheap" and "nightvision" are two that should never be used in the same sentence unless it's "nightvision ain't cheap"

I thought the "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location" was because I have a San Francisco zip-code. Is this true for all of CA? Dang they went up in price since I first got it to test!
