    Aimpoint T2 vs Acro P2

Just picked up a P2 from Aimpoints drop beginning of the week, the P2 is light, small and sexy! I currently have a T2 on my PCC, any reason to switch out the T2 for the P2?
If so I'll put the T2 on another future build.

No. Its not an apples to apples comparison anyways. P2 is meant for pistols in addition to its 3.5 MOA. You can use it as the rifles main sighting system but its not optimal. Let the P2 stay on a pistol or off-set on a rifle. Congrats on the acquirement though dude, Ill probably sell off my RMRs for that P2.

I have a p2 that I got end of last year. Already gone through two batteries, the battery life still sucks. They advertise the 50k hours at setting 6 but at 8/9 setting it apparently lasts about 4 months. My Steiner mps lasts longer at similar useable settings and they advertise way less. And I don’t use the auto off feature on the Steiner. I would use the Acro as an offset red dot but not the primary optic on a rifle and make sure to change your battery every quarter.

You think its still worth the upgrade from an RMR on a pistol or no?

The PCC is a B&T APC9k 9mm so I'd say it's very similar to a full size pistol in 9mm.
I think the T2 is a 2moa dot vs the 3.5moa of the P2? I just really like how small and light the P2 is.

If its staying on a PCC forever or pistol then yeah thats a good choice then.
