Problem installing red dot adapter plate.

I am trying to install a Holosun 507k on my AA G19 Urban with an RMR cut. I noticed the rear sight overhangs on part of the RMR plate. With effort I managed to work out the plate without tapping out the rear sight.

Now I have to install the C&H adapter plate, but the tolerances are so tight I can't get the adapter plate under the rear sight by force. I am wondering if anyone knows of a trick to get the adapter plate in without having to tap out the rear sight or do I have to just bite the bullet and remove the rear sight?

Remove material from either the adapter plate or rear sight. If the tolerance are so tight very little material will need to be removed. Sand it or use a file very slowly.

Personally I'd just drive out the rear sight before removing material overhanging on your optic cut.

if you don't want to file anything you can just get a different rear sight. Lots of options that won't stick out like that. Even when you do you might need to remove material from the C&H plate because precision is something that should not be in that companies name. I swear some of their stuff in the last couple years looks like it was made by a child with a file and anodized by that same kids little brother trying anodizing for the first time.
