      If money is not object and you want one to last a long time you can't go wrong with a US Optics. Premier may be nice but just haven't been around long enough to truly earn my trust yet.

        I thought so too! I think you may be right that final assembly is done here, at least it used to be, but as of late the bulk of manufacturing is done in Japan to my understanding. I need to confirm this before popping off.

        That said, I think both are great scopes. I haven't seen firsthand any of the Leupold horror stories that keep circulating. My next scope will hopefully be a NF, and I own a made-in-China VX-III that I like VERY much
