I would recommend a Nightforce but for the money the Leupold are also hard to beat. The Leupold MR/T 2.5-8x36mm M2 turret is a great scope for an AR10.

We sale both of them so if we can be of any help feel free to ask.

Then you would be talking about a Leupold. Made in AMERICA
Lifetime warranty and less money than some foreign brands

I am very pleased with my Nightforce NXS 1-4x24, very well made. The Zero Stop feature is a nice option as well.

As opposed to NF, his other option?

NF is vastly superior. If you can afford it, that's the way to go.

I finally got to use a Premiere and I'm totally impressed. I would buy it over a USO.

Love my Premier so far. Gonna get another.

I'd leave the IOR SH 3-18 FFP off the list. It has a higher failure rate than even Leupold. And thats saying something.

uclaplinker - if i was to buy a new scope it would probably be the new 5-25 primeire. that said, i love my US Optics 3.5-17X SN-3 SSDS on my GAP crusader.

rksimple - i like my IOR SH 3-18 FFP, it fits nicely on my GAP .308 DPMS build. that being said, i sent in my genII and i am waiting on my gen III. i am willing to 'try' and stick it out with the genIII and see what happens.

I liked my IOR SH for the 130 something rounds it was on my rifle before it broke. Scott was way willing to make everything right and he did. Got my money back. In talking with him recently he said across the generations, they're about 1 in 10 for failures. I'm just unlucky. Hell, I broke an S&B. I'm just tired of foreign service centers. With Premier and USO, I can have the scope back in a week or two. Everything breaks. Just some scopes more often than others. Its just a matter of when.

Though, for a couple grand, the Premier is getting tough to beat...

Leupold is really great for a Chinese scope. No more USA manufacture, although it is rumored that the Mk4 10x40 is still US made (of Chinese components), and that some final assembly of a few other scopes is done in Oregon. Don't believe me? Try finding a new Leupold box that says, "Made in USA."
