Is the EXPS2 worth the extra $70-$100 over the XPS2?

New to EOtech, and figured I'd ask the experts!

Depends if you want the higher mount on the optic (absolute vs lower 1/3)
And if you plan on running a magnifier the exps has the buttons on the side instead of back, I believe.

also the xps2 doesnt have a quick detach.

If youre going to end up getting a riser, just spend the extra coin for the EXPS

EXPS is worth it for the NV button alone. I also like it tall, so I run it on a unity mount, giraffe neck gang.

I've had both XPS2 and EXPS2. I ended up going with EXPS2.

Yes, 1/3 lower cowitness is better than absolute cowitness. The EXPS gives you that. It also has a quick throw lever so you can remove it quickly if needed.

OP I'd get the QD version (EXPS) well worth the money. Plus it's lower 1/3rd out of the box.

That's a great riser, and is meant to be used with the EXPS and the Unity FTC magnifier mount.
